3D Auto Body & Collision Centers announced recently that it has opened a new location in Conshohocken, which is its sixth location in the Philadelphia area. 3D’s Conshohocken facility will employ European technology that uses a catalytic generator mixing oxygen and hydrogen. Using this technology, drying times for paint, primer and body filler are dramatically reduced from almost an hour down to seconds with paint fully cured in less than a minute.

In the announcement, 3D’s President, David Niestroy, stated, “We have always been at the forefront of the latest technology here at 3D. Although this project has a much larger scope, we believe this will enable us to provide customers and insurance partners something they cannot obtain anywhere else in the region”.

The 24,000 square foot shop includes 26 bays with two sterile aluminum repair areas. The large office area will offer amenities such as private offices for customers and insurance partners to conduct business.

“It all comes down to who can repair the vehicle faster while keeping quality and safety paramount and costs contained by reducing overall cycle time,” stated Craig Camacho, 3D’s VP of Marketing & Business Development.

The facility is located at 1029 Conshohocken Road in Conshohocken.
