We pass by the Wawa being constructed at Ridge Pike and Diamond Avenue in Plymouth Meeting almost everyday. About two weeks ago the fuel tanks were installed. The steel frame for the building is also up. We emailed a representative of Wawa to inquire about the projected opening date, but haven’t received a response. More to come.

A new Dunkin’ Donuts opened in Plymouth Meeting just before the holidays. It is located directly across Germantown Pike from the Lukoil that is adjacent to the Plymouth Meeting Mall. The Dunkin’ Donuts that was in the Sunoco gas station just up the road has closed and now they are directing everyone to the new store.
Macy’s announced last year that it would be closing several dozen stores after the holidays and today it released the list confirming which stores would close. The store at the Plymouth Meeting Mall was on the list. Other nearby stores closing are Neshaminy, Moorestown (NJ) and Voorhees (NJ).
