Artists of all ages are invited to Introduction to Clothed Figure Drawing, Open Studio on Tuesday, June 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This is an opportunity to learn how to approach drawing the clothed human-figure-as-subject, in a casual atmosphere. The cost is $12.00.

Instructor Eileen McDonnell from the Conshohocken Are League demonstrates tenets of gesture, composition and value throughout the sessions to those wishing instruction. Ideal for the beginner, these sessions are also a terrific way complement for seasoned professionals to practice basic figure drawing, a complement to CAL’s regular adult figure drawing sessions (on the first Tuesdays of each month).

All mediums are welcome; a large newsprint pad, vine charcoal (any width), chamois and kneaded eraser are all that are required for the beginner. Please provide your own supplies. Some easels available.
