The Colonial School District draws approximately 4,600 students from the Borough of Conshohocken, and the Townships of Plymouth and Whitemarsh in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Principal at the Ridge Park Elementary, a K-3 Elementary Schools with approximately 450 students.

The goal of Ridge Park Elementary School is to provide students with a solid foundation for lifelong learning and to foster positive interpersonal relationships within a safe and nurturing environment. The educational program is directly aligned to state and national standards; however, our teachers take the approach of differentiating instruction to address the individual needs of all students.

Qualifications:
PA Principal Certification Required
Minimum of five (5) years Elementary teaching experience
Minimum of three (3) years Administrative experience preferred.

Requirements:
Demonstrated success as a leader in education with experience and advanced skills in the following areas:
K-3 curriculum and instructional practices
Strong literacy background
Data driven decision making
PA academics/common core standards
Strong communication and technology skills
Collaborative administrative style
Fiscally responsible budget management.

*Position also provides oversight responsibilities for the building’s special need student programs.

Rate of Pay: Competitive salary and benefits. Act 93, Full time, 12-month position.
