Ever doing a home improvement project and have the code enforcement officer tell you that you are doing it against the rules? Well you will now have recourse to attempt to prove the code enforcement officer wrong. From the Borough of Conshohocken:

The Borough of Conshohocken is now accepting letters of interest, resumes, and applications for the Borough of Conshohocken Board of Code Appeals. The Borough of Conshohocken Board of Code Appeals is responsible for entertaining, considering, and adjudicating appeals arising from or relating to the State Building Code and the Conshohocken Borough Property Maintenance Code. The Board of Code Appeals consists of three (3) members who are qualified by experience and training to pass on matters pertaining to building, construction, and property maintenance, and who are not employees of the Borough. Borough Council may appoint an alternate member who may be called upon by the Chair of the Board to consider Appeals during the absence or disqualification of a member of the Board. Alternate members shall possess the same qualifications required for Board Membership.
