Conshohocken’s Borough Council Tables New Zoning District

During tonight’s meeting of Conshohocken’s Borough Council, Borough Council tabled the proposed new zoning district (SP-4) that would allow the hotel, larger office buildings, etc. on lower Fayette Street. The district is proposed by Keystone Property Group.

On the agenda was for Borough Council to consider (take a vote) on advertising that it would vote to approve or deny SP-4 on a specific future date. Before a motion was made to consider placing this advertisement, Council member Tina Sokolowski (D) made a motion to table the issue. The vote was 6-0 to table it with Robert Stokley (R) recusing himself.

Tabling it does not mean it goes away forever. Borough Council can decide at its discretion to put it back on an agenda.

More to come.
