Establishing a Dog Friendly Park in Conshohocken on Agenda

On the agenda for the Wednesday, March 1st meeting of Conhohocken’s Borough Council is an item that involves establishing a dog friendly park in Conshohocken. As we recently reported, Conshohocken recently took over the operation of the Conshohocken Dog Park, which had previously been operated outside of the Borough’s park system. All the other park’s in the Borough’s system prohibit dogs, even on a leash.

The item is being brought up by Council Member Colleen Leonard (D, Ward 7). This meeting is considered a workshop, which is when members bring up ideas and there is a discussion. It is less formal than the meeting held in the middle of each month. So if you want to weigh in on being allowed to walk your dog in one of the Borough’s parks, other than the dog park, this is your opportunity.

The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Borough Hall at West 4th Avenue and Fayette Street.

More to come.
