Griswold Home Care Consolidates Offices in Plymouth Meeting

Griswold Home Care, a leading provider of in-home elder care services, is consolidating several of its Philadelphia-area offices and moving staff to a brand new complex in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania on June 23, 2016 – welcoming all members of the press to a cook off to celebrate its grand opening.

This move brings together Griswold Home Care personnel from its Main Line / Delaware County offices, Chestnut Hill / Blue Bell workplace, and its Bucks County location. Griswold will still offer services to clients in those areas, however, all staff will now work together out of one larger building, giving them greater access to shared resources and encouraging efficiency through greater support.

“Sometimes when you spread out too much physically, you have to rely on email or play phone tag internally to get answers or materials for your clients. People need answers immediately, and clients shouldn’t have to wait on answers when they’re making choices about their family’s well-being. Our job is to make that process easy,” said Matt Murphy, President and CEO of Griswold Home Care.

“We decided that the best way to be efficient and supportive would be to have everyone in one place,” continued Murphy. “Not only does it foster collaboration and great ideas internally, but it also means that clients have access to all of our combined resources and support whenever they have a question. We’re really excited to be able to provide an ever better experience for our clients.”

Conceptualized with the goal in mind that an entire team is greater than the sum of its parts, Griswold’s new “Mega” location in Plymouth Meeting was carefully researched with long-range goals in mind.

“We researched for months on the home health industry, the competitive landscape, and the evolving buying spectrum. We wanted to determine how well-resourced and positioned we were to accommodate the tremendous projected growth over the next 20 years,” explained Mike Magid, Griswold Home Care’s Chief Operating Officer. “The answers led us to one core belief that drove the Mega plan’s development: a commitment to excellence, engagement, and experience for all of our constituents including clients, families, caregivers, referral partners, and employees.

When asked how the move would help to encourage greater development of staff and easier access for families in need of home care for older loved ones, Magid elaborated on Griswold’s well-thought approach. “We have three foundational blocks to support our approach: Specialization of roles to increase production and performance, more functional geographic coverage, and streamlined processes and procedures. We anticipate great results from the plan’s implementation.”

These beautiful new offices will give Griswold Home Care staff the opportunity to continue its shared mission to provide senior citizens and their families with comprehensive, compassionate in-home care that allows them to age in place.
