Guppy’s Donating $2.00 to Philabundance for Every Burger Sold in November

Guppy’s Good Times is ramping up its fundraising efforts for Philabundance this November.  All month long owner Robin Gupta will donate $2.00 from the sale of every regularly priced burger to the charity.  After November, he will continue to donate $2.00 from the sale of the “Burger of the Month”.

From Philabundance’s website:

There are almost a million people in the Delaware Valley who face hunger every day. Their stories are as diverse as the nine counties served by Philabundance: working families hit hard by the recession, women and children, seniors trying to make ends meet. The one thing they have in common is being part of a food system that desperately needs additional support. Astonishingly, more than a quarter of the food in the United States goes to waste each year. Within the Delaware Valley, Philabundance has experienced 26 percent more people coming to us for food compared to last year.

Every $2.00 donated to Philabundance results in four meals offered to those in need. Guppy’s has 10 variations of burgers in Conshy, including Robin’s favorite the “Guppy the Greek Burger,” which is stuffed with jalapeno whipped feta cheese and topped with tomato and Tzatziki sauce. Vegetarian? Guppy has a “Veggie Burger” too.

You can support Philabundance at Guppy’s Good Times in Conshy, or at the East Norriton location.
