Last night Borough Council voted to appoint Karen Tutino to the open seat for Borough Council for Ward 1.  The seat was open due to the resignation of Raj Gupta (D).  One other resident, Aaron Weems, put his name into consideration.  Weems currently serves on the Planning Commission.

The vote was 4-2 in favor of Tutino.  Paul McConnell, Anita Barton, Ike Griffin and Eddie Phipps voted for Tutino.  Robert Stokley and Matt Ryan for Weems.  She will be sworn in on Wednesday night at the regular Borough Council meeting.
