Middle School Rowing Program at the Whitemarsh Boat Club in Conshy

The Whitemarsh Boat Club is introducing a program for middle school aged children geared specifically towards athletes with no or very little rowing experience – however, those who have attended some Learn-to-Row camps or similar programs are encouraged to sign up. The program is flexible enough to allow rowers of all abilities and ages to progress and learn. The club is located at the Hines Rowing Center on Washington Street in Conshohocken.

The program kicks-off on September 10th and runs through October 25th.  The program runs Tuesday through Friday each week with a 5:30 p.m. start time and 7:30 p.m. pick-up time.  The  coach for fall 2013 is Joe Sullivan.

Rowers are expected to be at all practices.  The fee for this program is $600 (plus a $35 facilities fee for Hines Rowing Center. Anyone who rowed for a program located at the center in 2013 will have already paid the facilities fee.

You will be asked to certify that your child is a competent swimmer. If you have questions about this requirement, please contact youthrowing@whitemarshboatclub.org.
