The Plymouth Township Police Department issued a press release providing details of a robbery on September 28th at the Outback Steakhouse on Ridge Pike in Plymouth Township (Conshohocken address). The robbery occured on September 28 just before 11:00 p.m. See the full details below:
On Sunday September 28, 2014 at approximately 10:50 PM Plymouth Township Police Department officers responded to a report of a robbery at gun point at the Outback Steakhouse located at 322 Ridge Pike.
Employees reported that upon exiting the establishment after closing, they were confronted at the rear exit by two black males each wielding handguns. While pointing the guns at the employees the suspects demanded the employees’ wallets, cash and cell phones. After complying one of the suspects took one of the employees into the restaurant, while the other suspect held the remaining two employees at gunpoint outside of the restaurant. Once inside the restaurant the suspect removed money from the cash drawers. The employee was then walked back outside of the restaurant and the two suspects fled the area on foot.
Suspect 1 is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a dust mask, white baseball style gloves, a black hooded sweatshirt, black track pants, and bright colored Nike shoes.
Suspect 2 is described as a black male approximately 5’9” tall with an “afro style” hairdo, also wearing a dust mask, gloves, a black sweatshirt and black pants.
Both weapons displayed by the suspects were black in color and had red laser sights on them. Both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
Plymouth Township Police were assisted by a K-9 Unit from Lower Merion Township, and the West Conshohocken Police Department.
