Proposed Corporate Headquarters on Riverfront Back in Front of Zoning Hearing Board on September 29th

What is billed as a corporate headquarters for a major company (rumored to be AmerisourceBergen) will be before Conshohocken’s Zoninhg Hearing Board on Tuesday, September 29th at 7:30 p.m. The hearing will be at Old Borough Hall at West 7th and Fayette Street. The developer, O’Neill Properties, is proposing the develop along the riverfront on the 200 block of Fayette Street (area marked in blue box in image).

Last year the project was approved, however, O’Neill came back to the Zoning Hearing Board this past July to request additional height and other relief to allow to allow for larger buildings. During the July meeting it was quite obvious the Zoning Hearing Board was not going to grant the relief and O’Neill asked to continue the meeting at a later date so it could come back with a plan that addresses the concerns.

The Conshohocken Zoning Hearing Board will continue the zoning hearing for Z-2015- 04 for the 200 Block of Washington Street on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. prevailing time at Conshohocken Borough Hall, 720 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Continued testimony will be taken at that time on the petition of Washington Street Associates IV/Millennium Waterfront Associates for construction of an office building and parking garage on the 200 block of Washington Street.

The Petitioner is requesting relief from the following sections of the Conshohocken Zoning Ordinance: 27-1509 2 – building bulk; 27-1504 D – parking structure orientation; 27-1503 – building height; 27-1505 B 2 – internal drive setback and 27- 1504 F – impervious coverage.
