Save the Date – Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House Dog Walk on October 25th

As we mentioned last year, one of our friends is involved in the National Dog Show, the dog show televised annually on Thanksgiving Day. This year they are adding a dog walk to benefit the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. The event will be held on Saturday, October 25th from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne. The walk kicks-off National Dog Show Month in Philadelphia.

All dogs are welcome with their owners, friends and admirers as the Kennel Club of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House and What a Good Dog have a morning full of fun activities in store for adults, kids and canines. The National Dog Shows Therapy Dog Ambassador Team will be on hand along with other national and Delaware Valley celebrities and pet personalities.

The Kennel Club of Philadelphia’s National Dog Shows are set for November 15th and 16th at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks. National Dog Show Month concludes with the NBC broadcast of The National Dog Show Presented by Purina, showcasing the great Philadelphia shows from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day following the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The cost for the dog walk is $25.00 per person or $35.00 per family. All dogs are free. To register click here.
