Southern Cross Kitchen has teamed up with the makers of Jefferson’s Bourbon to create an evening of fun, great food and drink. With a minimum of 30 days notice, Southern Cross Kitchen will age a personal barrel of Jefferson’s “Very Small Batch” Bourbon. The party hosts can create their own personal flavor of Jefferson’s Bourbon and guests will also have the unique opportunity to craft their own barrel-aged cocktails with Jefferson’s “Ridiculously Small Batch” bourbon. Southern Cross Kitchen will pair the bourbon with butlered hors d’oeuvres that includes Short Rib Sliders; Chicken Jambalaya; and Baby Lamb Chops.

Jefferson’s Bourbon is a collection of “Ridiculously Small Batch” straight whiskeys produced by skillfully marrying a selection of barrels of various ages. Founded over fifteen years ago by Trey Zoeller and his father Chet, a well-known bourbon historian, Jefferson’s Bourbon pays homage to one of the country’s most complex founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson. A man widely recognized for his scientific mind and experimental nature, Thomas Jefferson has served as a source of inspiration for the ever-evolving Jefferson’s brand.

The cost is $1500 (with tax and service) and includes a barrel of Jefferson’s Bourbon, hors d’oeuvres for up to 25 friends, and a keep-sake bourbon barrel etched with the host’s name and date of the event. It’s the perfect party or holiday gift for the man in your life.
