This Sunday at the Spring Mill Farmers’ Market in Conshohocken

We checked in today with Ben, our partner on the Spring Mill Farmers’ Market. He shared that Rineer Farms will have a lot more strawberries this Sunday. The market will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is held at the corner of East Hector and Lee Streets. Please understand that the Spring Mill Farmers’ Market is a seasonal market, which means we do not allow vendors to import fruits and vegetables from outside the area. Everything is grown or produced within 150 miles of the market. So more and more items will become available as they become in-season.

We also got a lot of questions during the last market involving the number of vendors. Right now we have a core group of 10-12 vendors each week. Before we expand, we have to establish the number of people attending the market week to week and make sure that audience size can successfully support the number of vendors that have committed to the market. Do we hope to grow the market? Yes, but we are going to take our time.

This week we will also have free grocery bags for the first 125 people courtesy of Binnie Bianco from Long & Foster and Alex Luboff of Prosperity Home Mortgage. So stop by their booth to say hello and get an Official Spring Mill Farmers’ Market bag.
