I run around all the time taking pictures of historical markers, but this is the first time I've found one about an ancestor, and a pretty cool one at that. George Corson's limestone company was well known in the region, but it was his abolitionist activities that he's best remembered for. The painter Thomas Hovenden mentioned on this marker is also worth checking out. #PlymouthMeeting #UndergroundRailroad #ThomasHovenden
