The demo of the Verizon Building has been moving along. Some of the lower outer shell have been removed, some windows are knocked out and it looks like interior walls have been removed between the floors. We haven’t been inside, just sharing what we can see from across the street.

It is not going to be a complete demo. The steel frame and concrete pad will be left. It will be rebuilt to be a borough hall and police station. There is also supposed to be some additional office/retail space available for others to rent.
