363 seniors set to graduate from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School on June 8th

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School will see 363 seniors accept their diplomas during the school’s upcoming graduation ceremony, which will be held on Wednesday, June 8th at Colonial Field (football stadium) beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Speaking during the ceremony will be Emma Marie Manley giving the student address, Superintendent Dr. Michael Christian, Poet Laureate Sarah-Ann Chiara, Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Principal Dr. Jason Bacani, and Colonial Middle School Principal Bob Fahler.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on CITV (Channel 28 on Comcast and Verizon FIOS) and the district’s CITV YouTube channel

Here are some interesting facts about this year’s graduating class:

  • 363 students will be accepting diplomas
  • 84.2% are going to four- or two-year colleges/universities (for a map of where seniors are headed following graduation, click here)
  • 5 students are going into the military
  • A total of $31,056,014 has been awarded to the Class of 2022 over the last four years

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved to Thursday, June 9th, at the same location and time.
