5 Wits, which bills itself as “cutting-edge, live-action entertainment venues that immerse you in realistic, hands-on experiences” is coming to the Plymouth Meeting Mall in Plymouth Meeting. Based on the size of the venues at its five current location the space should be approximately 11,000 square feet.

Similar to escape rooms, participants must use teamwork to solve puzzles and challenges, but 5 Wits offers higher quality environments, adds special effects, and more detailed storytelling. The idea is that participants are immersed in a video game. Here is an example from another location:

This opening will be another step in transforming the mall into a dining, entertainment and lifestyle destination. There are already plenty of restaurants in and surrounding the mall. Dave & Busters has a large arcade, LEGOLAND Discovery Center opened last month and Cyclebar opened a few days ago.

The space 5 Wits will be moving into across from LEGOLAND. No word on when it will be opening.
