The Spartan Organization has submitted a conceptual sketch plan to Whitemarsh Township for 60 townhouses near the corner of Butler Pike and Skippack Pike in Whitemarsh Township. The Spartan Organization was founded in 1990 by Nicholas Karabots.

The property (shaded in red above) is adjacent to the water tower that sits directly on the corner and runs behind the office building that is across Butler Pike from Phil’s Tavern. The sketch plan refers to “Longfield Farm,” but we aren’t sure if that refers to the current name of the property or the name of the proposed townhouse community.

We have not yet seen this proposal on any agendas in Whitemarsh Township. More to come.
