PennDOT announced today that Whitemarsh Township will be closing Stenton Avenue between Flourtown Road and Mill Road between Tuesday, September 3rd and Tuesday, October 8th for roadway and drainage construction.

During the closure, Stenton Avenue motorists will continue to use Flourtown Road, Thomas Road, Germantown Pike and Northwestern Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

Whitemarsh Township will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
