Vacuums must be a hot commodity on the black market. This is the third or fourth article over the past 12 months involving stolen vacuums in Plymouth Meeting. For the latest incident, the Plymouth Township Police Department is seeing Amir Fareed Thompson, who is alleged to have stolen four vacuum from the Best Buy at the Metrolplex.

From the notice:

On January 3, 2019 a male suspect entered Best Buy at 2010 Chemical Road in Plymouth Township.  The male selected four vacuums and exited the store without paying for them.  The male then got into a green SUV which he intentionally covered the PA registration plate and fled the location.  The male suspect was identified as Fareed Thompson through investigations into similar incidents in surrounding jurisdictions.
