Apartment Community Near Train Station Moving Forward with Construction

We recently showed you an old building being knocked down by the Conshohocken Train Station. The property involved, 51 Washington Street, has been approved for an apartment community since 2013. The property was sold by O’Neill Properties to Mack-Cali in 2014. Mack-Cali operates an apartment company called Roseland Property Group, which is now developing the site.

It appears that Roseland is moving forward with construction starting in the four quarter. From CoStar:

Roseland Property Company has broken ground on its $70 million multifamily development at 51 Washington St. in Conshohocken, PA.

The 250,000-square-foot multifamily property will have a total of 310 units, though the exact unit mix has not been determined.

Since this is located just right of the bridge going from Conshohocken to West Conshohocken, this will be a very visible construction project.

This construction makes O’Neill Properties approved apartment community on the 400 block of Washington Street the only remaining multi-family development in the pipeline.
