A reader sent us the above photo the other day and asked what was going on at Aubrey Collins Park on East Elm. Today we got an email from the Borough announcing that Aubrey Collins Park was getting new playground equipment, etc. See the announcement below:

Changes coming to Aubrey Collins Park! Our crew is working to dismantle all existing equipment in order to make way for brand new park equipment and safer surfacing. Demolition will continue today. Installation of new equipment will take place tomorrow.

Other Borough’s parks are also going to get improvements. We have heard talk about a walking trail around the A Field, additional basketball courts, a skateboard park and even an ice rink.
