Chemical spill at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School results in HAZMAT response and no injuries

The Whitemarsh Township Police Department today announced that the Barren Hill Fire Company had responded earlier today to Plymouth Whitemarsh High School with a HAZMAT team due to a chemical spill.

The spill took place in the science department. An alarm was triggered after a chemical was inadvertently spilled and a small cloud formed in the room.

As of approximately 11:15 a.m. the team had completed its response and departed the school. There were no injuries and the public was not in danger.
