The Deli on 4th in Conshohocken has had to temporarily close due to staffing issues. The announcement was made on Instagram early this morning.
This is not the only local restaurant impacted by staffing shortages. Most restaurants have scaled-back hours to not burnout the employees they do have or because they simply do not have enough people to cover all of the shifts.
For example, there are restaurants that were open for lunch pre-pandemic, that are currently not open for lunch. Bars that had been traditionally been open until 2:00 a.m. are closing earlier. Restaurants that had been open seven days a week are taking Mondays off.
