During the May 3rd episode of FXX’s Dave (also available on Hulu), there was a rumor that the main character Dave Burd, who performs as a rapper with a stage name Lil Dicky, had died. The manager convinces Burd to play along for a couple of days because news of his death goes viral and results in the possibility of one of his songs going No. 1.

Burd calls his parents and asks them to stay home and not say anything to anyone. In response, his mother states that they can’t cancel their dinner plans because the Mendelsons live all the way in Conshohocken and it is hard to reschedule with them. In real life, Burd grew up in Cheltenham Township.
