Conshohocken News & Gossip – Week of 12/5/11

News & Gossip

You may have read the story we did about Montco’s budget woes and the proposal to eliminate funding for parks, etc.  One aspect that I missed is the proposals elimination of  funding for the Conshohocken Free Library.  The Conshohocken Free Library posted this on its Facebook:

Montco must also be expecting a lot of people to attend the hearing because it changed the meeting space.  The county posted on its website and Facebook:

The Borough is not planning to raise taxes in 2012.  To see the proposed budget click here.  The Borough budgets $100,000 for parking fines.  That is a lot of tickets.

A seven year old boy from Conshy took a butter knife on a school bus last week, but it seems to have been innocent.

Too many cooks in the kitchen.

Some guy in West Conshy wrote an article about same sex couples raising kids and it stirred up all kind of trouble up in Canada.

Where is this “Conshohocken manse?”
