The Conshohocken Revitalization Alliance is in the process of developing three alternative concepts for the Moore Chevrolet property. The Alliance does not have the funding to buy the property and develop it, but hopes to spark the interest in developers who could then provide the Moore family an alternative buyer to Wawa.
The images, which the Conshohocken Revitalization Alliance posted to its Facebook yesterday are described as follows:
The renderings of a mixed-use alternative development from three different angles, one head-on from Fayette Street and two aerial shots. The development would be a three-story building offering residential space on the top two stories, approximately 7,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level, and allowing for about 120 on- and off-street parking spaces. This is one of three alternatives to the Super Wawa development that we are producing, all of which deliver comparable economic benefits to the community and conform to the Revitalization Plan.
Not mentioned in the description is that the top two floors would be 65 condos offering one, two and three bedroom options. As I mentioned, this is the first of three proposed alternate uses. I am not sure of the timeline on the release of the other two.
