Conshohocken’s AlliedBarton Acquired by French Investment Firm

Conshohocken-based AlliedBarton, which provides security personnel, announced yesterday that it has been acquired by the French investment firm Wendel. Below is the announcement:

AlliedBarton Security Services, the industry’s premier provider of highly trained security personnel, is pleased to announce that Wendel will acquire AlliedBarton, making an equity investment in the security services leader. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
