Patch & Paint Pros’ Flood Story

Patch & Paint Pros’ office is located just over the railroad tracks in the area that begins at the riverfront in Conshohocken.

A potential flood had been the talk of the town for several days before Ida hit. Even though flooding along the Schuylkill River has rarely crossed the railroad tracks, the Patch & Paint Pros staff tried to take precautions with their office equipment and tools in the event of any flooding.

Their office ended up getting more than three feet of water inside, which resulted in desks and workbenches being knocked over, along with all computers, tools, and equipment getting submerged in the floodwaters.

The Recovery

Despite the damage, the administrative staff was able to keep the business running from home, while the crew got to work helping local clients with their water damage repairs and painting needs.

Over the next few weeks, Patch & Paint Pros’ landlord provided new office space on the second floor and they were fortunate to receive donated furniture from Firstrust Bank on Ridge Pike.
