Conshohocken’s Police Chief Retiring in 2018

Chief Michael Orler of the Conshohocken Police Department will be retiring by December of 2018. Orler is a Conshohocken-native, Plymouth Whitemarsh High School graduate and was a longtime member of the force prior to being named chief in 2009.

Borough Council has formed a search committee that will seek out and vet potential replacements. The Borough’s three-member Civil Service Commission can also make a recommendation to Borough Council, which will make the final selection.

We will have more on Orler’s career and the search for his replacement in the coming weeks.
