Conshy Celebrity – Craig Dice and Becca Goldstein

How did you come to live and/or work in Conshohocken?

I moved to Conshohocken from Manayunk about 8 years ago during my days in Medical Device Sales. Travelling a lot for the job, I liked Conshohocken’s location due its close proximity to all of the major roadways and Center City. I met Becca at Pepperoncini, she was a Pharmaceutical Rep living in Center City, and a year later we were living together.

What do you do (career wise)?

We both just recently left long careers in Pharma. and Medical Device sales to make sandwiches and salads for a living. We just opened up a Deli and Catering business on Main Street in Manayunk called Dice’s Deli and Catering. Our deli is located at 4460 Main Street across from Ashes Cigar Lounge and U.S. Hotel Bar & Grill, and next to the famous Mom’s Bake at Home Pizza. We opened our doors in December 2011 and are humbled to have already established a nice crowd of regulars and walk-ins, and we have been fortunate to have a lot of salespeople utilizing our services for their catering needs. We serve breakfast sandwiches all day long and offer complimentary Sangria every weekend. Come check us out next time you are down on Main Street in Manayunk.

What are you involved in outside of work?

Running and Biking is our passion. We try to do as many Charity Runs and/or Biking events as we can in order to give back. Most recently, we have done the Gary Papa Run to benefit prostate cancer research and the Brian’s Run in West Chester to benefit wounded veterans. The concept of mixing exercise and charity is important to us. We also love to steal off to Baltimore or head to my home town, Manasquan, NJ, to see family, relax on the beach, surf, and then enjoy an ice cold adult beverage at Leggett’s.

What do you love most about Conshohocken?

Beyond the great people, Conshy offers a wide variety of places to dine out, it is located minutes from every major artery (76, Blue Rt., Turnpike) for a quick get a way to Center City, The Jersey Shore, or Baltimore, and there is such easy access to run, bike, or train it to Manayunk, Center City, or Valley Forge. To us, Conshohocken is the epitome convenience, fun, and comfort.

What are your favorite places in Conshohocken?

Pepperoncini is our home base (it’s where we met, but then again, I was there almost every day so I was bound to meet someone there eventually, haha). The StoneRose, Baggattaways,  Spamps,  Totaros, and Gypsy are also favorites of ours. Other than eating and drinking……we love the Run/Bike (Tow) Path, Edwaeds-Freeman’s Nut Co., and Wawa.
