Someone asked the other day about the status of the dog park that is to be built in Conshy.  I reached out to Councilman Raj Gupta who said that the FAA had approved the helipad and they hope to break ground on the dog park by the new year.  It does still need to be approved by the Department of Environmental Protection.

Why does a helipad being approved affect the building of a dog park?  The Borough made a deal with a local business that wanted to have a helipad to bring in clients to pay for the construction of a dog park.

The dog park, and the helipad, will be located along the river behind the Millennium office space.
