The Most Dangerous Intersection in Conshohocken

Law firm Solnick & Associates, LLC, recently conducted a study on the most dangerous intersections in Montgomery County. While the headline on the law firms’ website states “most dangerous intersections,” within the study it also uses “most dangerous roads.” The study basically just looked at how many accidents occurred at specific locations.

Within MoreThanTheCurve.com’s coverage area, Alan Wood Road makes the list at No. 7.  In 2016, there were 20 car accidents reported at this location. The article from the law firm states, “Roads with curves—even slight ones like above—can increase the chance for an accident. About three-quarters of curve-related fatal crashes involve single vehicles leaving the roadway and striking trees, utility poles, rocks, or other fixed objects—or overturning.” The picture mentioned in the quote  shows where Alan Wood Road bends in front of Home Depot.
