Dish of the Week | New Lafayette Sushi Roll | The General

This week’s Dish of the Week is the New Lafayette Sushi Roll from The General. This colorful sushi roll is made with spicy tuna, shrimp, mango, avocado, black tobiko and spicy mayo.

The General restaurant is a concept that was created by Nick Ciaffone and Bob Devine, who are partners at The General as well as at their other restaurant, From The Boot. “We consider our menu representative of a ‘modern American’ theme with something for everyone, and we have renovated the space to create a more contemporary feel while tying in the historical aspects of the building.”

Whether you’re craving a burger, steak, sushi or some comfort food like fried chicken and mac ‘n cheese, you’re sure to find it and more at The General. It’s perfect for those times when you’re with a group of friends and want to sample a few different menu options. It truly is a melting pot of flavors and options.

You can count on The General for cold beer, creative cocktails and a comfortable space for conversation after work or on a Saturday night. It’s the perfect spot to drop in for a family dinner or entertain friends. The General is the special occasion restaurant you can afford to come to once a week.

The General is open at 11:30 a.m. daily for lunch and dinner service and features live music in the Lafayette Bar Thursday through Saturday nights. They are happy to accommodate large parties and offer catering services as well.

The General is located at 646 Germantown Pike in Lafayette Hill.
