How did you come to live and/or work in Conshohocken?

I live in Lafayette Hill and when I would drive through Conshohocken to go to Superfit Gym I would think “what a great location for an upscale salon”. I already owned a successful salon in the Manayunk area and thought why not a second location for Splash.

What do you do (career wise)?

I am the owner and Color Director of Splash Hair Studio at 10th and Fayette Street. I specialize in all types of color from Highliting to resistant grey coverage. I have an amazing staff of cut and color experts and have enjoyed success in Conshohocken for six years already.

What are you involved in outside of work?

I have two amazing children who keep me very busy and I created a Salon Owner Support group which meets once per quarter to share information and support each other in the issues we all come across in business. I am very active in fundraising for various charitable organizations.

What do you love most about Conshohocken?

I love the sense of community. The parades, the soapbox derby, and the businesses all supporting each other is so rare these days. It reminds me of my neighborhood growing up. Despite the addition of all of the high rise office buildings it has remained a close knit community where everybody knows everybody and they grow up get married and buy another house minutes from their family.

What are your favorite places in Conshohocken?

We like to go out after work and have a cocktail every once in awhile and love the StoneRose and 8 East and you can’t forget the Lobster Mac and Cheese at the Gypsy!
