  4. Join us for a special virtual trivia night! “In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone shall stand against the vampires, demons, and forces of darkness. She is the Slayer.” You could say that Library Director Lisa has a special affinity for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She edited over 100 Buffy novels from the movie novelization in 1992 through the TV series and finale in 2003, and she is the co-author of The Buffy Encylopedia (2017). So come hang out, play trivia, and chat about your favorite episodes, characters, seasons, and quotes! “The big moments are coming to come. You can’t help that. It’s what you do afterward that counts. That’s when you find out who you are.” We’ll touch briefly on the 1992 movie that started the phenom before diving into the TV series which aired from 1997-2003. There may be a question or two about the Angel spin-off, but for this night’s game we won’t include the comics or novels. (Opinions about those and the planned reboot may be aired in the chat!) “Five by five.” The subject matter of Buffy can be mature, so the questions and language are geared toward teenagers and up. “You’re not special. You’re extraordinary.”
