  4. This improv workshop for grades 6-12 is for teens who want an introduction to “spontaneous theater.” This class will focus on generating creative thought through play. Students will be led through some basic improv exercises and games. These are meant to be fun and focus on communication and teamwork. Teens will work on being a good ensemble member as well as developing their individual skills in a low-pressure environment. There are some aspects of performing involved, but students are not asked to perform on stage. No registration required. Large imageDom Arp has been performing improv for 8+ years and is passionate about people finding spaces for play. He currently performs with 2 companies, directs a weekly show, runs several workshops, and has previously performed at Philly Fringe. He is specialized in narrative long-form, online digital short form, and public speaking. Outside of improv Dom is a lover of D&D, board games, and YouTube video essays. This program is sponsored by the Friends of William Jeanes Memorial Library.
