Speakers for the Montgomery County “One Night Without A Home” Sleep Out Announced Norristown, PA – The Norristown Hospitality Center will host its annual “A Night Without A Home” Sleep Out on November 16th on the steps of the Montgomery County Courthouse (2 Airy Street, Norristown) to raise awareness and funds for those experiencing homelessness in our community. This event will be taking place during the National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. “A Night Without A Home” is an opportunity for housed individuals to experience the realities of homelessness firsthand by spending a night outside. Participants will sleep on the sidewalk, in cardboard boxes, or in tents, learn about the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness, and raise funds to support the Norristown Hospitality Center’s programs and services. The event will include speakers, a candlelight vigil, an advocacy letter writing campaign, and the solidarity sleep out. For those who cannot attend in person, individuals can participate virtually. The Norristown Hospitality has just confirmed our lineup of speakers who will each add their own unique perspective on homelessness in Montgomery County and offer solutions to address the issue in our community.
