Swirling snowflakes, valiant toy soldiers, dancing sweets, menacing mice, a feisty girl, and, of course, the Sugarplum Fairy: see the world-renowned Donetsk Ballet Company’s Philadelphia performance of “The Nutcracker.” This beautifully staged production is a delight and a true international exchange as the dancers from Donetsk Ballet, directed by Vadim Pisarev and known for their extraordinary technique and artistry, share the stage with 40 children and teens from dance programs across Greater Philadelphia. A wonderful experience for all ages. Two performances only: December 21 at 6:30pm and December 22 at 2:00pm at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Performing Arts Center, 201 E.
