Firefighters from Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company spent the morning training

For six hours on the morning of February 20th, almost 20 firefighters from the Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company in Lafayette Hill took part in training exercises in a portion of a building that is about to be demoed. Members trained on forcible entry, overhaul, ventilation, and firefighter self-rescue.

The use of a building that is about to be demoed allows the firefighters to train in a more realistic environment.
