Firefighters Working to Protect River After “Hazardous Materials” Incident

Earlier today we reported that there had been a hazardous materials incident in West Conshohocken.

We can now share two photos, showing boons placed just in front of a storm drain that empties into the river (above) and a little further down the river (top of article).

We still have not received an exact confirmation of what exactly is flowing into the river but it is believed to be petroleum-based. We also do not know the source.

More to come.
