Since our last update on November 6th, Montgomery County’s COVID-19 data hub reports that there were 158 new cases of Coronavirus on November 7th, 151 on November 8th, and 185 on November 9th. These new cases bring the total countywide since the start of the pandemic to 15,148.

This is the first time during the pandemic there were four straight days of more than 150 cases each day (the three days listed above and the 191 cases on November 6th).

Three deaths were reported over the three day period (on November 9th), bringing the total for November to eight. The total number of deaths countywide since the start of the pandemic is 846.

The 14-day PCR Positivity Rate as of November 4th is 4.72, which is from 4.54% on November 1st. Having this number under 5% is considering having the virus under control.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health’s data hub shows that there are 115 hospitalizations due to Coronavirus in Montgomery County as of November 9th at noon. This is up from 94 hospitalizations on November 6th at noon. Twenty patients currently require a ventilator.

The number of cases from the most recent 14 days is 970 more than the 14-days prior. The most recent seven days is 1,052 more than the previous seven days.

Locally, here are the current numbers:

• Conshohocken is at 109 cases, which is three more than since November 6th. There have been no deaths.
• West Conshohocken is at 12 cases, which unchanged since November 6th. There have been no deaths
• Plymouth Township is at 295 cases, which is 12 more than since November 6th. There have been seven deaths.
• Whitemarsh Township is at 342 cases, which is 13 more than since November 6th. There have been 23 deaths.
