How did you come to live and/or work in Conshohocken?

I’m actually from Pittsburgh, PA, but I completed my undergrad at Villanova University and fell in love with the Philadelphia Area. In 2008 I moved to the Philadelphia to pursue a career in Public Relations for Diccicco Battista Communications.  I’m not a city girl, so when deciding upon where to live, Conshy seemed like a natural fit. It’s close to all the major roadways, not far from Villanova or the city, but you still can walk to a nice restaurant or bar.

What do you do (career wise)?

I’m pretty busy : ) Currently, I work for Diccicco Battista Communication as a Public Relations strategist. I am also a First Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves, and I do fill in on-air work for NBC 10 Philly. Previously, I worked full time as an on-air reporter for WGAL Channel 8- the NBC affiliate in Harrisburg, PA.

What do you love most about Conshohocken?

It’s close to everything! If I want to head out to a Villanova basketball game it’s minutes away, but I can easily take the train into the city to change things up. I come from a suburban town outside of Pittsburgh, PA and Conshohocken makes me feel right at home since you still get that suburban feel, but there are so many great places that are walking distance from where I live.

What are your favorite places in Conshohocken?

My two passions are food and exercise. I really enjoy running through Conshy, especially on the bike trail, which is right by where I live. Coming from an Italian family, I grew up surrounded by amazing food and I’ve found some great restaurants in the area and I keep hearing of new places I have yet to experience. Some of my favorites include Coyote, if I’m in the mood for Mexican, The Stone Rose, and Pepperoncini. I’m always looking for a new place to try out with friends.
