Help Us Bring a Farmers Market Back to Conshohocken

CORRECTION: Please take the survey at the end of the article regarding MoreThanTheCurve’s proposed Farmer’s Market. 720 Fayette has been identified as the potential site of the market and we are seeking community input in advance of a zoning application.

MoreThanTheCurve.com is in the final stages of bringing a farmers market to Conshohocken. We have approached The HOW Group to see if we can organize and host a farmers market at their newly renovated property at 720 Fayette Street (Leeland Mansion). In addition, William A. Moore Funeral Home has agreed to allow attendees to utilize its neighboring parking lot.

As you may know, we operated the Spring Mill Farmers Market for three years on East Hector Street. That location was a little off the beaten path, so we took a couple of years off and worked to move it to Fayette Street (finding a location was harder than you think). We could have moved to open last year at a different location, but Leeland Mansion is the perfect spot (so we waited).

When the market reopens it will be known as the Conshohocken Farmers Market and will be held on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The opening date will be announced sometime in April (we hope to open sometime in May and remain open through the last weekend of October).

Please take the survey at the end of the article regarding MoreThanTheCurve.com’s proposed farmers market.  The property at 720 Fayette has been identified as the potential site of the market and we are seeking community input in advance of a zoning application. We ask that you take the below brief survey for two reasons. One to voice your opinion on Conshohocken having a market and secondly to help us gather data on what type of vendors you want.

Please note, by taking the survey you won’t be added to MoreThanTheCurve.com’s overall email list. Your email will just be added to a market specific list that you can opt out of at any time.

Thank you.
