In the Pocket Records “Change Reaction”

David Uosikkinen, and other Philly area professional musicians, returned to Elm Street Studio in Conshohocken to record “Change Reaction.” For about a year Uosikkinen, who is the drummer for the Hooters, has been recording and playing the songs he feels are essential to the Philadelphia playlist.  Members of his “In the Pocket” band rotate in and out and have included Tommy Conwell, Rob Hyman, Eric Bazilian, Jerry Blavat and Richard Bush.

“Change Reaction” was first recorded by Robert Hazard and the Heroes in the early 1980’s.  Check out the below video to learn about In the Pocket and hear the song.  To download the song, visit In the Pocket’s website.  A portion of the download fee goes to the Settlement Music School.  You can also see In the Pocket perform live on March 13th at World Cafe Life.  For ticket information click here.
