Investigation into $100,000 Fraud Started at Plymouth Meeting Bank

An investigation into a $100,000 fraud involving forged checks started at the Wells Fargo in Plymouth Meeting and has led to a warrant for Shantina Brittanie Thompkins. The Plymouth Township Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating her. Here is the notice:

The Plymouth Township Police Department holds an active arrest warrant for Shantina Brittanie Thompkins for Fraud, Forgery, Theft and related charges. Thompkins was involved in cashing checks on a compromised account which was discovered during an investigation which was started at the Wells Fargo in Plymouth Township. The checks that Thompkins cashed totaled as $16,000.00 loss to the victim. The incident which Thompkins was involved caused an overall loss to several victims of over $100,000.00.
