Vintage Instruments and its owner, Fred Oster, were recently profiled on HiddenCityPhila.org. You make recognize Oster as he has appeared on the Antique Road Show evaluating instruments.

In the Hidden City article, Oster mentions that he grew up in Lafayette Hill and started selling instruments while in college. Today the business makes its home in a mansion that was built by the Lippincott family in the 1880s and was more recently owned by Father Divine. His client list includes a who’s who of famous musicians.
